Hello! My name is Wilma Zayas. I have been a Dental Assistant with Expanded Functions for over 35 years. I studied at the University of Puerto Rico Medical Sciences Campus. I worked for 12 years in Puerto Rico and then moved to Texas due to my husband's job and I have been practicing here for 23 years. I have 4 sons.In my free time, if I have any, I like to go to the gym, watch Netflix and go out to eat with my husband,my sons and their girlfriends. I will soon be a grandmother and I want to dedicate all my free time to the baby. On my vacations I like to go to Puerto Rico to visit my family. I have been working at Fresh Dentistry for 3 years assisting hygienists and I have loved it because I can practice my career and educate patients about oral hygiene. Oh and also talk a lot which is what I like to do the most. I'm bilingual. I speak English and Spanish and help translate whenever necessary. Fresh Dentistry has become my new family. It has a professional environment with everything advanced and modern without sacrificing human quality. This is where I can practice my profession and fulfill one of my desires in life, which is to retire with pride.
