Dr Shina Patel

Dr. Shina Patel, a dedicated general dentist known for her diligence, clinical expertise, and commitment to patient satisfaction, earned her Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences in Psychology from the University of Florida in 2019. She completed her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the University of Florida College of Dentistry in 2023. While in dental school, she volunteered at Freedom Clinics, providing emergency care to underserved communities, including extractions and restorations. With a strong foundation in general dentistry and a special passion for the artistic aspects of dental care, Dr. Patel specializes in general, cosmetic, restorative, pediatric, and implant dentistry. Her clinical expertise includes procedures such as full-coverage crowns, Invisalign treatment, teeth whitening, and comprehensive smile makeovers. Fluent in Hindi and Gujarati, she values connecting with patients from diverse backgrounds and is passionate about providing comprehensive care while fostering meaningful connections with her patients, colleagues, and community. Her dedication to excellence has been recognized through honors, including the UF Clinical and Professional Excellence Award and the Pierre Fauchard Academy Award for leadership, community service, integrity, and communication. She is also an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA) and continues to pursue research and evidence-based advancements in dental practice. Dr. Patel’s philosophy centers on building lasting, trusting relationships with her patients by taking the time to understand their unique goals and concerns and developing personalized treatment plans that enhance oral health and overall well-being. Outside of dentistry, she enjoys traveling, exploring new cuisines, and spending time with family and friends. Having returned to her hometown of Davenport, FL, Dr. Patel looks forward to welcoming patients and helping them achieve healthy, radiant smiles.
