Dr. Cooper graduated in June 1987 from University of Tennessee Dental school in Memphis. He then spent 6 years in the US Army while doing a one year general dentistry residency at Fort Campbell KY before going to Germany, Texas and Louisiana. He then got out of the military and moved back to the Knoxville area where he took over Dr. Armstrong’s practice in Clinton in June 1993. He has been in private practice for 29 years and has 3 grown sons, Thomas 34, Jack 33 and Nick 30. He also has a grandson Adrian who is 20 months old. In his free time he enjoys UT sports, Orangetheory fitness, renovation projects, hiking, and traveling to new places both in the US and abroad. Dr. Cooper prides himself in calming his patients dental fears while providing them with the best option in restoring their dental issues to their satisfaction.
