Dr. Parker grew up in the Carter Community and is grateful to be able to return to his home area to provide Dental treatment to the families in this and the surrounding area. He graduated as Valedictorian of the Carter High School class of 1987. This was followed by a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biology from Carson-Newman College in 1991. Afterwards, he graduated with Honors from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry (Memphis) in 1996 with a Doctorate in Dental Surgery. He was then accepted into the General Practice Residency Program at the University of Tennessee Hospital (Knoxville) which he completed in 1997. Dr. Parker and his family reside in Strawberry Plains and are members of NorthStar Church. He and his beautiful wife Beth have four wonderful children, Ansley, Weston, Aida Rose, and Wade Honour.
