Dr Emily O’Hara

Dr. Emily O’Hara pursued a career in dentistry because it combined artistry, medicine, and helping people. She strongly believes all patients should be treated like family and receive treatment options tailored to their individual needs. Working alongside her patients, she helps them achieve their optimal smile and oral health. Dr. O’Hara received a bachelor’s degree in biology from Whitworth University in Spokane, WA. She then completed her dental education at the University of Washington School of Dentistry in Seattle. During dental school, she received the Pierre Fauchard Academy Certificate of Merit. Moving from one corner of the country to another, Dr. O’Hara attended the University of Florida St. Petersburg to complete her Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency. This year-long program gave her advanced training in surgical extractions, molar root canals, and implant dentistry. After moving to Tennessee in 2020 to be near family, Dr. O’Hara fell in love with the beautiful scenery and southern hospitality. Outside of the office, she enjoys reading, baking, and spending time outdoors with her husband and their yellow Lab, Callie.
