Dr Jerry Chiu,

Dr. Jerry Chiu was born and raised in New Jersey, but is proud to call himself an Austinite. As a child, he dreaded going to the dentist, but the saving grace was the comfort and compassion he felt in the chair by his dental professional. Dr. Chiu obtained his doctor of dental surgery degree at Columbia University. He completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at the Medstar Washington Hospital Center, serving as chief resident in the final year. His training also included working at John Hopkins Hospital, DC Veteran Affairs Medical Center, Children’s National Hospital, and the National Institute of Health. Dr. Chiu practices the full scope of oral surgery with special emphasis on outpatient sedation and anesthesia, dentoalveolar surgery, implantology, oral pathology, and soft and hard tissue reconstruction.
