Mr Hamit Aras

Hamit Aras was born in Tabriz Located southeast of Azerbaijan. He relocated to Ankara, Turkey when he was in high school and completed his education there. After graduating dental school he started his Ph.D in periodontal disease with research in the biochemistry field. His thesis (the effects of NSAIDs on gingival crevicular fluids myeloperoxiduse & elastase of periodontitis) was published in the Journal of Periodontology (Official publication of American Academy of Periodontology) in May 2007. Dr. Aras was a faculty member in the same school that he was trained at (University of Haccettepe, Ankara), until 2001 before moving to the USA. After completing required training and exams he became a licensed dentist in the state of California. He has been practicing general dentistry with his experiences in periodontology since moving to California. He is currently a full time dentist at Center Point Dental Group. He is an affiliated member to ADA (American Dental Association), CDA (California Dental Association), SDDS (San Diego Dental Society).
