Dr. Jim Edwards was born in New Castle, Indiana and grew up in Central Indiana. He graduated from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1976 after attending Ball State University. He served in the United States Air Force at MacDill Air Force Base. He established the practice in Ocala in 1978, growing it into Marion Dental Group with multiple dentists and locations. He enjoys golf, motorcycle riding, woodworking, and travelling in his RV with his wife Cathy. Their son Ryan is a dentist, and daughter Courtney is a teacher.
