Dr. Daniel Weaver was born and raised in the New Orleans area. He joined the U.S. Army at age 17 and served in the infantry for two years before continuing his military service in the Louisiana National Guard for an additional six years. He completed his undergraduate studies at LSU earning a degree in Biochemistry. He then attended LSU Dental School, graduating with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Since 1999, Dr. Weaver has been in private practice in Southwest Louisiana. He has completed the Medical College of Georgia's Implant Maxicourse, a comprehensive training program in Implant Dentistry. Dr. Weaver has held offices and served on numerous committees at the state and local level, including President of the Calcasieu Parish Dental Society, President of the local component of the Louisiana Dental Association, Louisiana's Dental Peer Review Committee, Louisiana's Dental Governmental Affairs Committee, and currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Calcasieu Community Clinic. He met his wife Stephanie in dental school. Danny and Stephanie have two children.
