Dr. Rothermel is a 1987 graduate of the LSU School of Dentistry. Following graduation, he completed a four year residency as a Captain in the United States Air Force stationed at Moody Air Force Base in Valdosta, Georgia. During this time, he received advanced Oral Surgery training at Lackland Air Force Base. Upon completion of his residency, he relocated to Crowley, Louisiana in 1991. He then began to build his practice into a state-of-the-art facility utilizing high tech equipment to better treat his patients. This equipment includes: Digital X-Rays for comfortable and fast low-dose X-rays CT Scan for implant treatment planning and visualization of complex dental problems CEREC crown milling allows custom crowns, veneers and bridges for same day delivery Diode laser for comfortable tissue contouring Nitrous Oxide and Conscious Sedation for patients needing help with anxiety Dr. Rothermel is a member of the following professional organizations and groups: American Dental Association Louisiana Dental Association LSU Committee of 100 Acadiana Dental District Association Academy of General Dentistry He and his wife Sheila are the proud parents of six children and eleven grandchildren. His hobbies include woodworking and making Kentucky long rifles and Windsor chairs.
