Dr. Dang grew up in Southern California before moving to the Bay Area, where he attended and graduated from the UCSF School of Dentistry with his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS). During his time there, he received prestigious awards from the American Academy of Periodontology and other organizations in recognition of his academic excellence. After completing his dental training, Dr. Dang pursued advanced education through a rigorous three-year postgraduate residency program in Periodontics at UCSF, where he served as Chief Resident. During this time, he also earned a Master of Science (MS) degree, focusing his research on mini dental implants and their impact on patients’ quality of life. Dr. Dang’s expertise spans a wide range of periodontal treatments, including: Advanced deep cleanings and gum disease surgery, Gum grafts for recession, Dental implants to replace missing teeth, Tooth extractions and bone grafting, Soft tissue regeneration, Other specialized periodontal procedures. These treatments reflect the advanced skills and training that only a certified periodontist can offer. Outside the dental office, Dr. Dang enjoys spending quality time with his family. His personal interests include running, biking, cooking, traveling, gardening, watching movies, and maintaining a healthy mind and lifestyle.
