Dr. Sharhonda Washington graduated from Xavier University of Louisiana in New Orleans, Louisiana where she earned a B.S. in Biology/PreMed. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry in Nashville, Tennessee. During her matriculation in dental school, she was awarded several academic awards and honors. After graduation, Dr. Washington earned a certificate in General Practice from the Veterans Administration Hospital in Houston, Texas. The benefits of attending such a program allowed her an increased understanding of how to treat medically compromised and disabled patients. Dr Washington is a licensed dentist in the state of Texas with expertise in administering conscious sedation (nitrous oxide or “laughing gas”). With over twenty years of experience in general dentistry, she provides care to patients of all ages. As a native Houstonian, Dr. Washington is not only a dedicated professional but also a loving wife and proud mother of two sons and one daughter. In her free time, she enjoys listening to music across various genres, dancing, participating in church activities, traveling, and cherishing moments with her family.
