Dr. Vaibhav Rai is a highly skilled and compassionate clinician who brings technical excellence and deep empathy to every patient interaction. He immigrated from India at the age of 13 and grew up in Philadelphia. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Pittsburgh, graduating with the highest honours, and went on to receive his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Howard University. After dental school, Dr. Rai completed advanced clinical training at a Transplant Institute and continued his education with a residency at the VA Hospital in Washington, D.C. He excels in implant dentistry and endodontics, and has a strong passion for helping people find relief from pain through precise and effective treatment. Dr. Rai is also committed to developing the next generation of dental professionals. He actively mentors young dentists, helping them become strong, confident clinicians and supporting them in building practices grounded in quality and integrity. He lives in Potomac, Maryland, with his wife, their three children, and his mother. In his free time, he enjoys being with his kids and making the most of every moment with his family.
