David Drummond graduated from Northwestern University Dental School in 1982 and entered the United States Army Dental Corps. His first duty station was Cowan Dental Clinic, Fort Sill, Oklahoma. He received advanced training in Oral Surgery (Extractions), Endodontics (root canals), Pedodontics (children’s dentistry) and Prosthodontics (crowns, bridges, veneers and dentures). In 1985, he volunteered for a posting in Korea, then returned for Officer’s Advanced Course and served as Chief of Oral Surgery at Allen Dental Clinic until 1988, when he pursued private practice in Lawton. He stayed in the Active Army Reserve until 1993. Originally from Baltimore, Maryland, he attended Pahlavi University (Shiraz, Iran) for one year, then University of Florida (1975-1978).
