Dr. Hoeft graduated from Brigham Young University with degrees in Zoology and Spanish. He then completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Iowa on a 4 year scholarship. Following dental school he spent an additional year learning more advanced dentistry in an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) graduate program. He served as a dentist in the Army for 3 years. He is also one of only 1% of all dentists who have earn a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD) as well as fellowships in the The International College of Dentists (ICD), The American College of Dentists (ACD) and the Pierre Fauchard Academy (PFA) showing he is the "best of the best." He has been married to Lisa, for 37 years and they have 4 children and 6 grandsons.
