Dr Jamie Smiley

Dr. Jamie Smiley grew up in Olathe, Kansas. She was very involved in her high school and community and graduated as valedictorian from Olathe South in 1997. After high school she attended Creighton University for two years and then finished her degree in kinesiology and pre-dentistry at Kansas State University. She graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in 2001 from Kansas State and then went on to graduate cum laude from UMKC dental school in 2005. Dr. Smiley has known since junior high that it was her true calling to be a dentist. After graduating in May of 2005, she went to work as an associate dentist in a busy Overland Park practice. She worked as an associate for almost five years before deciding to open her own practice. She can't think of a better place to serve her community than where she grew up. Dr. Smiley enjoys seeing families and kids and getting to know her patients and takes great pride in the dental care she provides. Dr. Smiley is associated with the American Dental Association and the Kansas Dental Association. Jamie and her husband, Matt, live in Overland Park and have two children. She is a member of the Olathe Public Schools Foundation Women's Giving Circle, and a member of the Spear Study club, a select group of dentists who meet monthly to discuss complex cases and do continuing education, including 3 days training annually at the Spear Institute in Scottsdale. She is also a member of the Leawood Chamber of Commerce.
