Dr. Peter Havelos is a native of Loudoun County, growing up in Lovettsville, Virginia. He attended and graduated from Loudoun Valley High School. He went on to Virginia Tech, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude with degrees in Chemistry and Economics. He obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry in Richmond, VA. On completion of dental school, he was inducted into the national dental honor society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon. Dr. Havelos pursued additional training and completed a two-year general practice residency at the University of Virginia Medical Center, where he treated all types of patients, including medically compromised and special needs. While there, he served as chief resident during his second year. While in Charlottesville, he volunteered regularly at the Charlottesville Free Clinic. After many years away, Dr. Havelos is happy to be back in the area. In his free time, he helps his parents on their farm. He enjoys getting outdoors, going fishing, playing golf, cooking, and watching sports.
