Dr. Jarman was born and raised in Salt Lake City, UT. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Utah in 2007 with a degree in Exercise Physiology, along with minors in Chemistry and Nutrition. He then attended dental school at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, OR, from 2007 to 2011, graduating with honors. Following dental school, he and his family moved across the country to New York City, where he completed a three-year residency in Prosthodontics at Columbia University, serving as chief resident in his final year. During his residency, he received advanced training in implant dentistry, crown and bridge work, esthetic dentistry, removable prosthodontics, and full mouth rehabilitation, among other specialties. After graduating from Columbia, Dr. Jarman served in the United States Navy for eight years. He spent four years stationed at Camp Pendleton Marine Corps Base in Southern California and four years at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam in Hawaii, receiving the Navy Achievement Medal and the Navy Commendation Medal for his service. In 2022, he resigned his Navy commission and moved to Denver, CO, where he practiced prosthodontics and performed full mouth implant rehabilitations for a year. However, after 16 years away from home, he and his wife decided to return to Salt Lake City to be closer to family, old friends, and the mountains they grew up in, relocating in June 2023. In his free time, Dr. Jarman and his family enjoy Utah's great outdoors. Weekends find them hiking, fishing, camping, skiing, and snowshoeing with loved ones.
