Dr Ashley Maxam

A native of Kentucky, Dr. Ashley Maxam grew up in Winchester. She attended George Rogers Clark High School and graduated from Eastern Kentucky University in 2005 with a bachelor’s degree in biology. Following her undergraduate training, Ashley attended the University of Louisville School of Dentistry, graduating in 2009. Prior to opening Maxam Family Dental in Berea, Dr. Maxam practiced in southern Illinois for 5 years with Shawnee Health Services. During that time, she gained lots of training working with children and the underserved population of southern Illinois. She attended several continuing education courses in pediatric dentistry and oral surgery. As a general dentist, she enjoys being able to make her patients feel comfortable while providing a wide variety of dental services. Although the experience in southern Illinois was wonderful, Dr. Maxam always aspired to move back to Kentucky. In 2014, she was able to do so and open Maxam Family Dental. She has now served families in Madison and surrounding counties for almost ten years. Dr. Maxam has also continued furthering her education and in 2022 got certified with the American Academy of Facial Esthetics to do Botox injections and dermal fillers.
