Dr. Brittany Camenisch is originally from Stanford, KY. In 2009, she graduated from Centre College with a degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Immediately following Centre, Dr. Camenisch continued her education at the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry, where she received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. During dental school, she was actively involved in the Ecuador dental mission trip, served as president of the Student Professionalism and Ethics Association, and was a member of the American Dental Association. For the past five years, Dr. Camenisch served as a general dentist, first in Richmond and then in Lexington, KY, while she was in the residency program. In May 2018, Dr. Camenisch completed a residency in periodontics and implant dentistry where she served as the chief periodontal resident. She also graduated from UK with her Master of Science in Dentistry. She plans to continue to serve at UK College of Dentistry as a part-time faculty member in the Department of Periodontology. Because of her experience in both restorative dentistry and periodontics, Dr. Camenisch provides both patients and referring dentists with a well-rounded understanding of all of their dental-health needs.
