Robbie Taylor, DMD, MPH, grew up in Corbin, KY, and received his dental degree from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry in 2009. In 2010, he completed his residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at The University Hospital in Cincinnati. After three years in private practice, Dr. Robert Taylor joined the faculty at the University of Kentucky, where he was a Team Leader and Director of Clinic Curriculum at the College of Dentistry. While in the UK, he mentored his 4th year dental students in all aspects of patient care. He taught endodontics (root canals), surgery, and management while also seeing his own patient base in Faculty Practice at the college. In 2018, he earned his master’s degree in Public Health Policy and Administration and went on to represent the dental school on the University’s Global Health Advisory Committee. This included taking teams of dental students to provide care in Nicaragua and Puerto Rico. Nationally, Dr. Robert Taylor was involved in the American Dental Education Association, where he was the Chair of Comprehensive Care and General Dentistry.
