Dr Matthew Kiernan

Dr. Kiernan is a member of Boston University’s Goldman School of Dental Medicine’s class of 2022, graduating Magna Cum Laude with his Doctorate of Dental Medicine. Dr Kiernan, son of Dr. Nishimura, receives his continuing education at the Kois Center, as well as participates in his local Spears Study Group. Dr. Kiernan grew up in Lexington, and attended Northeastern University, graduating Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2017. Dr. Kiernan, in order to provide the most up to date and advance care for his patients offers Salivary Diagnostic Testing, which identifies the specific causes for gum inflammation and tooth decay, CBCT analysis for Airway and TMJ issues, Dexis Transillumination for early detection of tooth decay, and identifying fractures without radiation. Inman Aligner, which is a faster and less expensive option to Invisalign; Cerec Crowns, with which crowns can be made in a single visit; and Cari-free products to prevent tooth decay and resolve gum inflammation. Dr Kiernan's outside interests include spending time with family, golfing and exercising.
