Paul F. DiMattia, DDS was born in Boston, son of a Boston principal and a homemaker who instilled in him a love of education, family and community service. After graduating from Boston Latin he received his bachelor and masters degrees at University of Mass, Boston. He went on to get his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from Temple Dental School in Philadelphia in 1974, before serving as a Captain in The Air Force. After returning home, he practiced for 10 years in his East Boston practice. In 1987 he purchased his Lexington practice from retiring dentist, Dr. Robert Crooke on Muzzey Street. A few years later, he outgrew the Muzzey Street office and moved to the current location on Bedford Street. Dr. DiMattia and his wife, Dianne, reside in Lexington, where they raised their two children and are active in the community.
