Dr James W. Denny

Dr. Denny has practiced dentistry for over 20 years and resides in Lexington. He attended the University of South Carolina where he received a Bachelor of Science. He later graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina with a doctorate in dental medicine. Over the years, Dr. Denny has completed far more continuing education than is required, covering all aspects of dentistry. Also, he completed an extensive course at the Institute for Advanced Studies in Dental Esthetics in New York City where he studied under world renowned cosmetic dentists, Dr. Ross Hash and Dr. Larry Rosenthall. He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry & Greater Columbia Dental Society where he works constantly to stay abreast of the very latest techniques. Dr. Denny is especially proficient in the area of anesthesia and pain control. He is one of the few dentists in the area who uses "The Wand", a computerized local anesthetic machine producing consistently painless injections. Dr. Denny is acutely aware that many people still fear going to the dentist. He will never rush through a procedure and will do everything in his power to make your dental visits as comfortable as possible.
