Dr. Susan Alexander was born and raised in Reno, NV. She graduated with a Bachelor in Science from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln in 1999. She attended UNMC College of Dentistry in Lincoln. After dental school in 2004, she worked as an associate with her father in Reno for two years before moving back to Nebraska and settling in Columbus. She spearheaded the creation of the new dental clinic at Good Neighbor Community Health Center, where she led and worked for over 14 years. She has participated in philanthropic events like UNMC’s Dental Day (Give Kids a Smile) since 2007 and Nebraska’s Mission of Mercy since 2012. Most recently, she serves on the Dental Advisory Committee for Nebraska Medicaid’s managed care providers for MCNA. Susan and Doug were married in 1999 and have two children, Zach and Taylor, as well as two cats.
