Dr. Abigail (Abby) Romano never appreciated how privileged she was to have a father as a dentist until a close family member was diagnosed with oral cancer during a routine dental checkup. Thankfully, they are now cancer free, but that was the moment when she realized how important dentistry is to her. Following in her father’s footsteps, Dr. Romano graduated from University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine with the class of 2023. She then completed her residency at St. Joseph’s Health in Syracuse. Dr. Romano enjoys the variety of procedures that general dentistry allows her to do, including prosthodontics, endodontics, oral surgery and implant dentistry.
