Dr Susan Thomas

After receiving her Bachelors in Science degree at Michigan State University (GO GREEN!), Dr. Thomas graduated from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry in 2008. She then elected to participate in an additional one-year dental residency program at the University of Michigan which furthered her training in cosmetic dentistry, pediatric dentistry, and oral surgery. Dr. Thomas enjoys getting to know her patients and works with them to select the best treatment options to improve their overall oral health. Her practice philosophy places a heavy emphasis on education and preventative care, and she pays an unequaled amount of attention to detail in her conservative approach to dentistry. She is committed to furthering her education and clinical skills by attending various classes and seminars throughout the year, and is an active member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and Michigan Dental Association. Dr. Thomas grew up in Livonia since second grade, graduated from Livonia Stevenson, and currently lives here with her husband Shawn and two daughters Reyna (5) and Lia (3). She is eager to practice in, and give back to a city that has served her and her family well for so many years. Dr. Thomas enjoys traveling, cooking, reading, Spartan football/basketball, and cheering on all of our local Detroit sports teams.
