Dr Matthew Acres

Dr. Acres grew up in Henderson, TX and graduated from Henderson High School in 2009. He then attended Texas A&M University where he majored in biomedical science and graduated in 2013. Dr. Acres is a 2018 graduate of the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Dental School where he excelled clinically earning the top clinician award for his group. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and East Texas Dental Society. Dr. Acres also enjoys volunteering his time at the LEDO free extraction clinic in Longview. Dr. Acres is married to Rebekah and has three kids: Mahlon, Davy, and Juliet. In his spare time, he enjoys being outdoors and spending time with family. He especially likes hunting and fishing. Dr. Acres is very happy to be back in East Texas and really enjoys the slower pace of life found here. Dr. Acres’ calm demeanor and gentle touch put all of his patients at ease. His conservative treatment philosophy is centered around informing the patient of their dental needs, giving all treatment options, and helping the patient choose the best option for their overall situation.
