Dr. Shelyan completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Neuroscience at UCLA and then moved to New York City to obtain his Doctorate in Dental Surgery at New York University. After an extensive training in general and cosmetic dentistry at NYU, he and his wife decided to move back home to Los Angeles. He believes that it is possible to have a comfortable and pleasant dental visit by reducing fear and anxiety using soft music, aromatic candles, relaxation techniques and/or anti-anxiety medication. Dr. Shelyan assures his patients’ comfort from the moment they come into the office until the end of the dental treatment. He has always been interested in the artistic aspect of his career which is Cosmetic Dentistry.
