Raised in Westchester, Dr. Niznikiewicz’s professional education started at Stony Brook University School of Dentistry, where he was awarded his degree with high honours, graduating at the top of his class. After earning his DDS, Dr. Mark Niznikiewicz earned his MD at the State University of New York at Stony Brook School of Medicine. Dr. Niznikiewicz then completed his combined residency in General Surgery and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Long Island Jewish Medical Center. He practices the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery, including cosmetic facial surgery, dentoalveolar surgery, implant surgery, orthognathic and reconstructive facial and jaw surgery, sleep apnoea surgery, facial trauma surgery, and TMJ surgery.
