Dr Olga Kovalenko

Dr. Kovalenko wanted to become a dentist from the time she was a child. She pursued her dream by coming to New York as a teenager. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Long Island College, Brooklyn Campus, and subsequently received her doctoral degree from New York University College of Dentistry (NYUCD) where she graduated at the top five percent of her class and was elected into the Omicron Kappa Dental Society. Upon graduating from NYU College of Dentistry, Dr. Kovalenko completed a one year general residency program at Long Island College Hospital (LICH) in Brooklyn, NY. Following her residency, Dr. Kovalenko continued her education while working in different dental settings as an associate and by taking extensive continuing education courses. These courses included advanced training in Invisalign, cosmetic dentistry, occlusion (Full Mouth Rehabilitation at NYUCD), implant surgery and bone grafting with a world renowned oral surgeon Dr. Arun Garg. During this time she developed a vision for her own practice, which she then created. Feeling forever grateful to her alma mater, she returned to NYUCD as a clinical faculty member for some time. However, opening her private practice and being heavily involved with continuing dental education made her postpone teaching for the time being. Serving Long Island residents since 2009, Dr. K, as her patients often call her, ensures that your individual needs are made a priority at each visit. She offers a full range of state-of-the-art dental services encompassing prevention, restorative, orthodontics, implant, and cosmetic dentistry.
