Dr. Khan graduated from the University of Kentucky in 1995. He completed Medical School at the University of Miami, and also trained in General Surgery and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. During the latter part of his residency training, his focus became general plastic and facial plastic surgery. Dr. Khan is board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, making him one of the few oral surgeons in Georgia that has earned this honor. He is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery. With an international following, Dr. Khan was a member of the initial team that launched the surgical services at the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery Hospital in Dubai. He continues to practice all over the world, performing clinical procedures, lecturing and serving in faculty roles. Dr. Khan has co-edited textbooks in surgery and published several articles and book chapters on cosmetic surgery.
