Dr. Courtney Filgo grew up on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. She finished her undergraduate education at William Carey University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English literature and a Bachelor of Science degree in biology. Following college, she attended the University of Mississippi Medical Center School of Dentistry and finished her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2002. She is married to Dr. Bob Filgo, a veterinarian at All Creatures Animal Care Center in Madison. They have three daughters: Wesley, Wenston and Willa. In her spare time, Dr. Filgo enjoys reading, traveling with her family, and participating in dental mission work.
