Dr. Sears grew up in a small town in Central Louisiana. She became interested in dentistry when she began working as an Orthodontist assistant and Lab assistant as a teenager and during her undergraduate program at Louisiana State University. After receiving her bachelor's degree in biological sciences with a minor in chemistry, Dr. Sears attended Louisiana State University School of Dentistry and obtained her doctorate in Dental surgery in 2014. Upon completing dental school, Dr. Sears worked two years as a traveling doctor seeing children in underserved areas in rural Louisiana. She later relocated to Houston, Texas, where she provided dental care to inner-city communities. Dr. Sears is a general dentist but loves working with children so much that her practice is limited to pediatrics.
