Dr. Sueyoung Chi is originally from South Korea. She completed her undergraduate studies at University of Minnesota in 2004, where she received a B.S. in Chemistry, and graduated from New York University College of Dentistry in 2009. After dental school, Dr. Chi finished a one-year GPR residency at the Brooklyn Hospital Center. Since the hospital had an oral surgery program, she had the opportunity to perform many implant restorations including overdentures, and she gained extensive experience with difficult pediatric patients. Dr. Chi is also trained and certified in implant dentistry, and an active member of American Dental Implant Association. She is also a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the Connecticut State Dental Association (CSDA), the Hartford Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD). As part of her commitment to excellence in dentistry, Dr. Chi has taken continuing education courses in implants, orthodontics, endodontics, pediatric dentistry and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Chi is married with three children. She moved to Connecticut in 2010.
