Dr. Herod is a native of New Hampshire having grown up in the neighbouring city of Manchester. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Saint Anselm College in 2001 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology. She received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Connecticut in 2005. While at UCONN she received several honours including the Academy of Operative Dentistry Award, the American Academy of Oral Medicine Award, the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine Community Service Award, and the Kohrman Award for excellence in complete denture prosthesis. After completing her four year dental degree she spent one year in a GPR (general practice residency) at the VA Medical Center in Manchester, NH performing comprehensive dental care for our veterans. Currently Dr. Herod is a member of the American Dental Association and New Hampshire Dental Society. She has been named in NH magazine as a Top Dentist in the field of General Dentistry. She truly enjoys treating both adult and child patients and is very happy to be helping maintain the dental health of individuals in her community. Dr. Herod is married and lives locally with her husband and two daughters.
