Dr Joseph Nasworthy

Dr. Joseph Nasworthy is originally from Swainsboro, Georgia, and brings a thoughtful, patient-centered approach to dental care. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Georgia Southern University and went on to conduct research at the Medical College of Georgia. Dr. Nasworthy completed his dental training at the Dental College of Georgia, where he received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine. Before moving to the New Orleans area, Dr. Nasworthy practiced general dentistry in Charlottesville, Virginia. He is committed to continuing education and is an active member of both the American Dental Association and the New Orleans Dental Association. Outside the office, Dr. Nasworthy enjoys spending time with his wife and young son. New to the New Orleans metro, he’s enjoying exploring the unique culture, cuisine, and warm community. Dr. Nasworthy is excited to be a part of the Pontchartrain Dental team and looks forward to building lasting relationships with his patients.
