Dr Terry Bartholomew II

Dr. Bartholomew is a Mansfield, Ohio native. After finishing his undergraduate requirements at the Ohio State University (OSU) in 3 years he went on to complete his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree at OSU in 1994. He is currently a member of several dental organizations including the American Dental Association (ADA), the Central Ohio Dental Society (CODS), the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), Six Month Smiles (SMS), and the World Clinical Laser Institute (WCLI). He is the only dentist in Richland and surrounding counties who is trained by the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Presently there is not an ADA recognized specialty in cosmetic dentistry. However, in 1984 the AACD was formed by a group of forward-thinking individuals, dedicated to continuing education in the rapidly evolving field of cosmetic dentistry since the true art of cosmetic dentistry was not being taught in the dental schools. The AACD developed a credentialing process for cosmetic dentistry, which has become the standard of excellence in the field. He also holds the only associate fellowship in laser dentistry through WCLI in all of Mansfield and Richland County. Cosmetic dentistry is not a sideline for Dr. Bartholomew, it's his passion. Most general dentists will dabble in some cosmetic dentistry from time to time. Dr. Bartholomew does cosmetic dentistry everyday and has performed thousands of cosmetic procedures. His philosophy is that the more you practice anything the better you become at it. Cosmetic dentistry is not only a science but an art and has become second nature to Dr. Bartholomew.
