Dr. Gueringer earned his bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Saint Olaf College. He then headed East and earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD), as well as his Certificate in Dental Public Health, at the University of Pittsburgh. While in dental school, Dr. Gueringer served as President of his dental class, coordinated mission trips to Jamaica, and gained experience working with patients with special needs. After graduating from dental school, Dr. Gueringer returned to his home state of Minnesota and completed his General Practice Residency at the Minneapolis VA Medical Center. During his time at the VA, Dr. Gueringer completed multidisciplinary cases which included placement and restoration of dental implants, fixed and removable prosthodontics, cosmetic dentistry, and management of patients with complex medical histories. He then worked in private practice for three years before joining the Brook West team. In his free time, Dr. Gueringer enjoys biking, supporting Minnesota sports teams, and spending time up north with wife, Jenna, and his three children.
