Dr Tyler Koivisto

Dr. Tyler loves developing relationships and providing his patients the highest level of personalized and comfortable dental care. He established Hanover Dental just down the road from his childhood home in Greenfield in 2018. Providing dental services in a small town private practice was a longtime dream come true. Outside of the office, Dr. Tyler enjoys fishing, bow hunting, traveling, skiing, barbecuing, and spending quality time with his family and friends. He and his wife Marisa have five children: Bennett, Vince, (angel) Vera, Ingrid, and Rhett. Dr. Tyler is an alumnus of Rockford High School. He attended the University of Minnesota, where he graduated with both Bachelors of Science and Doctor of Dental Surgery degrees. After graduation, Dr. Tyler served as a dentist in the U.S. Navy where he practiced at Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island, South Carolina and Marine Corps Air Station New River, North Carolina. He has had over nine years of military and private practice experience. Dr. Tyler firmly believes once you stop learning, you start dying. In 2018, he became a fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) after completing over 500 CE hours. He is also an associate fellow in the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID). His other awards include: Outstanding Achievement Award from the Academy of Operative Dentistry (AOD), and the Clinical Achievement Award in Endodontics from the American Association of Endodontists (AAE). Dr. Tyler enjoys all aspects of dentistry, but has a special interest in implants, root canals, and cosmetics. He looks forward to meeting you and helping you improve your oral health and quality of life.
