Dr. Barnett, a native of Chatsworth, Georgia, loved going to the dentist as a child and decided to become a dentist at eight years old. She graduated from Dalton High School, then Auburn University Summa Cum Laude in Biomedical Sciences, where she was a gymnast named SEC Scholar Athlete of the Year, NCAA Academic All-American, and Wentworth Award recipient. She attended dental school at Medical College of Georgia and completed a General Practice Residency at University of Tennessee Medical Center, with rotations in oral surgery, forensic dentistry, family medicine, anesthesiology, and emergency medicine. She treated dental emergencies, complex cases, and patients with special needs under general anesthesia. Practicing in Atlanta for over a decade, she helps patients achieve dental and health goals. Lives in Atlanta with husband Evan (dentist) and cats Linus and Jeorgette. Enjoys food, coffee, exploring Atlanta, yoga, barre, and dance.
