Dr Ivonne Castro

Dr. Ivonne Castro graduated from dental school in 1994 at the top of her class. She completed a two-year posts graduate general practice residency in Cleveland, Ohio and has extensive dental training in implant surgery. In 2013, Dr. Castro completed a one-year maxi course with the American Association of Implant Dentistry and is certified in conscious sedation, offering different levels of sedation to ensure that patients with dental anxiety have the best dental experience available. Dr. Castro is bilingual, speaking both Spanish and English. She is an Associate Affiliate Fellow of the American Association of Implant Dentistry and an active member of the American Dental Association, the Louisiana Dental Association, the New Orleans Dental Association, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr. Castro is the first “Breathe Institute” affiliated clinic in Louisiana (dual affiliation OPS-Surgical Residency with Dr. Zaghi), and a VIP Vivos provider. She is also a member of IAOMT and IABDM to practice with the safest materials and techniques on her patients. Dr. Castro is committed to continuing education and takes many advanced courses each year to enhance her skills to better serve the dental care needs to her patients and provide them with gentle and comfortable dental experience.
