Born and raised in Cincinnati, Dr. Fred Peck returned here upon completing his residency to work alongside his father in the same dental practice his grandfather started in 1931. Dr. Peck continued with post-graduate training in complex restorative dentistry and cosmetic dentistry, eventually earning Accredited Fellowship in the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the highest credential offered by the AACD. He also graduated from the Dawson Academy in Florida and the Kois Center in Seattle, two post-graduate institutes that teach complex restorative dentistry. He has also been awarded Fellowship in the International College of Dentists. He is a member of the American Equilibration Society, the leading organization of dental professionals for the study of occlusion and complex restorative dentistry. Dr. Peck finds the highest satisfaction in seeing a patient light up over the results of their finished treatment. He loves to help patients experience greater confidence and happiness with cosmetic dentistry. In 2017, he achieved distinction as one of fewer than 100 dentists worldwide to be named an Accredited Fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the highest credential offered by the AACD. In his practice, Dr. Peck prioritizes preserving natural tooth structure whenever possible. He also believes that patients should be presented with all of their treatment options, including the positives and any potential downsides of each one. His philosophy is that the most appropriate treatment is the one that best aligns with the patient’s budget and lifestyle. He carefully considers the sustainability of cosmetic work within the patient’s lifestyle before recommending treatment. This way, he is able to stand behind the longevity of his aesthetic treatments. In addition to serving his own patients, Dr. Peck has also served for over 20 years as a member of the Scientific Program Committee of the Cincinnati Dental Society and as a faculty member for the University of Cincinnati Medical Center Dental Division, where he teaches cosmetic dentistry to the resident class each year. He resides in Cincinnati with his wife of over 30 years, Lauren. They have two adult sons, Brandon and Josh. As an avid landscape photographer, Dr. Peck enjoys hiking in his spare time.
