Dr. Jason Baker was born in Decatur, Indiana, a small town about 20 miles southwest of Fort Wayne. He attended Bellmont High School where he excelled at academics and athletics. He then attended Indiana University in Bloomington where he received his bachelor’s degree with a major in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. After undergrad he enrolled at Indiana University Dental School in Indianapolis, Indiana. In 2004 he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Upon graduation he moved to Chicago where he met his wife Jacqueline. After six years in the Windy City he and Jacqueline were ready for a warmer climate and a slower pace. North Carolina was exactly what they were looking for and they have been residing in the Charlotte area for 10 years. Dr. Baker truly enjoys all aspects of family dentistry and offers a broad range of treatment. He is a member of the American Dental Association and North Carolina Dental society. He is also involved in Spear Study club, regularly attends Continuing Education, and is dedicated to keeping up with the latest trends in dentistry. When away from the office Dr. Baker enjoys family time with his wife, daughter (Luna) and French Bulldog (Demi). He loves to be physically active and enjoys working out, running, golf, and hiking. Dr. Baker is also fond of cooking and considers himself an “expert” griller on his Big Green Egg. He is an avid sports fan who enjoys rooting for his alma mater Indiana Hoosiers and the Chicago Bears.
