Dr James Barnes

Dr. Barnes, a native Texan, grew up in El Paso, Texas. After graduating from high school, he attended Baylor University in Waco where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology. He later went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Barnes is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Texas Dental Association and The North Texas Dental Society. His commitment to continuing education, use of state of the art technology, and a genuine compassion for his patients has enabled Dr. Barnes to provide exceptional care in a relaxed and friendly environment. Dr. Barnes also strongly believes in helping those in the community. He has been an active dental provider to orphans of The Lost Boys of Sudan, and also participates in Give Kids a Smile, a national event celebrated in the month of February to teach children about the importance of proper home care and to provide free dentistry to thousands of need children across the country. He also enjoys golfing, running, weight training, and scuba diving with his friends and family.
