Dr. Parker comes from humble beginnings in South Louisiana. As a child, he spent a lot of time with his grandparents, who owned a small dental practice. From a young age, Dr. Parker’s grandfather instilled in him a deep passion, and respect for the practice of dentistry. Though Dr. Parker’s grandfather has passed, he is still remembered for his genuine love for people, his advocacy for Continuing Education in dentistry, and his diligent service on the State Board of Ethics. As a lifelong athlete, Dr. Parker’s personal drive for excellence on and off the field led him to a college career in baseball, where he was also able to continue his love for medical sciences. Dr. Parker graduated from Spring Hill College in Biological Sciences, and then from the Louisiana State University School of Dentistry. Practicing in the Dallas area since graduation, he has found a home in the heart of Texas. Dr. Parker has committed his professional career to building a practice centered on continuing education, evidence based dentistry, and simply doing what is best for each patient. He demonstrates this through his involvement with several associations including The American Dental Association, The Academy of General Dentistry, and The Texas Dental Association which allows him to further his education while learning new ways to better serve his patients. A lifetime love for the values of team, and an innate desire to help people continue to drive his practice philosophy. Dr. Parker says, “I consider it a privilege to be a dentist, and strive to carry on a family practice tradition of excellence. I want to keep dentistry at its roots as the ultimate people profession.” In his free time, Dr. Parker still enjoys playing, coaching, and watching sports. He, his wife Julia, and his two sons Everett and Davis love traveling, cooking, staying active, and spending time with their two boston terriers, Rudy and Zelda.
