Dr Aleksa Basina

Dr. Basina seeks to provide the highest quality of dental care while maximizing patient ease and comfort. She understands that going to the dentist can sometimes be quite scary or intimidating, and she strives to create an environment that both educates and empowers her patients in order to ensure that they have the best possible dental experience. Dr. Basina is originally from Belarus and speaks Russian fluently. She grew up in the New York / New Jersey area before moving to Pittsburgh, and is now very happy to call it home! She has had aspirations of joining the dental profession from a very young age as both of her parents are dentists as well. She earned her B.S. in Psychology with a minor in Chemistry followed by her D.M.D. at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Basina enjoys traveling the globe, eating her way through every sushi restaurant in Pittsburgh, and most of all – all of the warmth and kindness that all of her patients and coworkers have showered her with since she’s become a part of the Cherry Valley Smiles family.
