Dr. Dave grew up in Wheeling, West Virginia, attending St. Michael’s Catholic School, Wheeling Central Catholic High School and West Liberty University. He is the son of David and Eleanor Schmid of Wheeling and has three sisters. Dr. Dave is married to his wife, Krystal who is a Veterinarian at Towne and Country Animal Hospital. They are expecting their first child, a little girl, in the Fall 2022. They also have two dogs, Cooper and Charlie, a silver lab and a long haired dachshund. Dr. Dave enjoys golfing, playing ice and inline hockey, taking guitar lessons, drawing and painting, and rooting for WVU and Pittsburgh sports teams.
