Dr. Krakora attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Bacteriology in 1994. He then completed his Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree in 1998 at the University of Pittsburgh and Doctor of Medicine Degree in 2001 at Drexel University. Dr. Krakora completed his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh in July 2004. A large portion of his training was focused on bone grafting and dental implant surgery. Dr. Krakora is the head of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Washington Hospital in Washington, Pa. He has published research articles in major medical journals and is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Dental Association, Pennsylvania Dental Association, Pennsylvania Association of Oral Maxillofacial Surgery, and is certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
