Dr. Madeleine Maas is passionate about helping patients feel comfortable and confident in achieving their dental goals — whether that means relieving pain, enhancing their smile or improving their overall oral health. With a thoughtful, patient-first approach, she ensures every visit is guided by compassion, clinical excellence and open communication. Dr. Maas earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Touro College of Dental Medicine in 2021, followed by a General Practice Residency at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in 2022. Prior to dental school, she graduated with honors from Ramapo College of New Jersey, earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Psychology. Since moving to Richmond, Dr. Maas has been practicing locally for the past three years. She continues to stay on the leading edge of dentistry through frequent continuing education courses, including monthly Richmond Dental Society meetings, online and in-person CE events, and advanced Molis Training focused on Invisalign case planning. She is a proud member of the American Dental Association® , Virginia Dental Association , Richmond Dental Society and Academy of General Dentistry . Dr. Maas’s academic and professional work has been widely recognized. She’s a two-time winner of the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology Essay Contest and has been published in The Pulse , the organization’s newsletter. She was also selected as a Pierre Fauchard Academy Dental Student Scholarship recipient, awarded to students who exhibit integrity, leadership and a strong commitment to service. “My goal as a dentist is to help people feel comfortable while achieving their dental goals — whether it’s to get out of pain, straighten their teeth or enhance their smile through cosmetic work. Every patient deserves to feel at ease and fully heard.” Outside of the office, Dr. Maas enjoys spending time with her husband, who also works in the Richmond area. The two love staying active — especially running and hiking — and most recently completed the Richmond Marathon together.
